Delhi Police organized “Cyber and Insurance Fraud Workshop Programme” in Dwarka District

Delhi Police organized “Cyber and Insurance Fraud Workshop Programme” in Dwarka District, for the police officers of this District from 28.07.2020 to 29.07.2020 and 200 police Officers joined this Programme. This Course is organized in dwarka district with the approval of  Ms. Shalini Singh, IPS Jt. Commissioner of police, Western range. All Covid related Precautions were taken.

This course was integrated by Shri Satish Kumar, Addl Dy  Commiossioner of police, Dwarka District, Delhi. This course was organized by ICICI Prudential Life insurance Company, Sh. Himanshu Sharma (Senior Manager) where in ACP Ved Bhushan Delhi Police (Rtd.) also delivered lectures regarding criminal breach of trust, Cheating, Fraud, Forgery, Spurious calls, criminal conspiracy and IT Act.

Crime in Insurance sector is increasing day by day during covid-19 it’s a white collar crime and needs special type of investigation as it’s different from other type of crime. Insurance sector is a big attraction for white collar criminal’s especially young boys/girls. Lots of call centres were busted across India apart from Delhi/NCR engaging in suspicious call. Several gangs operating in insurance were also apprehended by police
